About

Hi, I'm Kamarie Jane.

Born and raised right here in Utah.

I'm an herbalist and yoga teacher by training. Most of my time is spent thinking about plants, how they grow, how they heal, and how good it feels to just be outside surrounded by them.

Someday I'd love to open a small apothecary here in Utah, a cozy spot for herbal teas and tonics that get people excited about the plants growing all around them.

A few years back, I worked on the planting crew at Cactus & Tropicals, a local Utah greenhouse. In the fall, we'd tuck pumpkins into our planter designs on porches all over the valley, and it was hands-down one of the most fun parts of the job.

Then I heard about Heather Torres and her Porch Pumpkins business in Texas, through fellow Utah native Chris Koerner's podcast (small world), and it clicked. Gourd-geous Porches was born.

When I'm not out styling porches, you'll probably find me on a yoga mat, out with my dog Indie, or spending time with the people I love most. I built this business around real plants and real materials because that's just who I am. Our Full Circle Pledge is my favorite part of the whole thing: nothing wasted, everything given a second life, just like nature intended.

Gourd-geously yours,

Kamarie Jane 🧡
